The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth
Henci Goer, 1999.
The title says it all! This is for the thinking woman, but that doesn't mean it's written in textbook style. No, this book is one of the easier reads I've handled as of late. It's for the intelligent woman who wants to know the difference between various topics, interventions and options.
Including: C-sections and VBACS, breech babies, inductions, Medications, pain management, interventions decision making and everything in-between!
Gives accurate, simple definitions and explanations of procedures, but it also backs up opinion with FACTS.
I highly suggest this book for mom's (and dad's) who want to see their options plainly side-by- side.
This book will help you Think it Through!
